I hope lessons can be learned from this tragic incident. Thoughts are with the family and friends of this individual.

So far the name of the deceased has not been made public. I think it’s likely that the media already knows the name, but they’re waiting for confirmation that their family has been notified before they put it on papers.

A reminder that behind public roles are human beings carrying heavy burdens. Deepest condolences to all affected by this loss.

To be clear, even though this article is written by YLE, the original report of it being a suicide comes from Iltalehti (yellow press) and as far as I know hasn’t been confirmed by anyone else at this point. It might well be true, but all that has been actually confirmed is that a member of parliament has died.

Dehuminization shouldn’t be used for any group of ‘others’. Not even politicians.

Sometimes the saddest people are those that lost their Hope in the Abyss of the Human Soul.

May we create a future worth living for.

The poor people who had to clean this up. At least do this in private and not public property. Be considerate for the people left behind.
