Nothing changed. Just another room and the conditions coming from that room.

It’s cause the US has the cards and will continue to be the most influential on the world stage for decades.

Is there an end to European humiliation? The days of soft power are gone, we need powerful military and we need it fast. Also military alliance outside of NATO and EU (only selected countries, the EU as a whole will never agree on anything).

Those leaders… they should know what a dumb idea this is… I think it’s only understandable they tried once for the sake of Ukraine. You can’t expect anything good coming out of Trump’s involvement. But if they ever allow him to arrange a second meeting exactly like this, I’ll start being mad at them for letting themselves be disrespected like this.

Image 1: G7 heads of state try to explain things to Trump, not understanding that he’s too dumb to reason with.

Image 2: Finally understanding that arguments are useless in front of him, Europeans fall back on trying to stroke his ego. This proved useless because he’s just Putin’s puppet.

Ironically, the picture above is the reason why we ended up with the picture below

Merkel fucked up Europe for decades with her open borders policies, fuck her

Lol. If they had met in France Trump would have sat on a chair.

Whats this dumb post trying to do, make the biggest pedophile loser seem like he actually can do more than be a disgrace to humanity?

The “humiliation” for Europe is not Trump, who is actually systematically weakening the US on the global stage – that red carpet treatment of Putin and the farce afterwards was even too much for Fox News.

The humiliation is that Europe needs to beg Trump not to sell out Ukraine in first place, the fact that Europe still relies on external powers for its own security.

That is humiliating and needs to change – and it is changing, believe it or not. The post-WW2 consensus is dead, the US does not want to be the guarantor of European security anymore, the same role that gave the US superpower status in first place and was actually US doctrine for decades, it’s not like it was benevolent altruism.

Europe had to learn this the hard way in the last few years and is adapting, but it needs time after wasting so much of it before. That’s what all the sycophancy and “stroking his ego” is really about, winning time.

The world will be a very different place in 10 years, as will Europe. The US-European relationship will never be the same again either.

Please. The first group was the biggest Putin-fanwank ever.

    11. EU leaders trying to end war in Ukraine. Idk why some people say it’s humililation – i guess it’s their job

Ya well, he’s still the village idiot, but sometimes ya gotta find a way to fit him in.

“Donald, I hear you have a collection of caps now” – G7

As a European I hate everything that is happening. I wish everyone could just leave the US behind. I wish we would actively enter the war to defend Ukraine. I feel like we are slowly becoming a sad dystopia like USA. There is no more honor here. Everyone is just clucthing their money.

imagine unironically having a picture of Ronald Raegan on your wall

I can’t wrap my head around how these people aren’t tired of constantly meeting to discuss wars.

    17. Insightful23blue on

The Europeans had to come to the sad conclusion that the only way that you can talk to this insecure man child is by flattering him first. Absolutely pathetic.

Castrated, yes we are. We have gone from being the Pimp’s favourite bitch to his third or fourth favourite.

With all of his threats, I hoped we had more balls as Europeans and withstood but we crumbled and bent the knee.

    19. Mike_for_all on

Macron and Trump are the only ones in both pictures. It isn’t just the setting, it is also the people that create this stark contrast.

Member when he said stop buying Russian energy and then they laughed while continuing to find the Russian war machine?

    21. Donald is as dumb as ever and more comfortable with his corruption.

    22. Shot-Total-2575 on

yeah… we really thought he would be in a place with nice paintings and some flowers with nurses or some other kind of jail at this time

I’ll never forget the utter arrogance of that “man” when he pushed the European leaders (or whoever) aside just to be king of a photo op.
