      Except the US Constitution expressly says it can’t be, even during wartime. But his brain is mush so we’re going to have to do something about that.

      It is in the Ukrainian constitution! It isn’t in the US constitution. Maybe read the documents, you illiterate thunderchode.

      Well, actually no. That’s a Ukrainian constitutional rule not a US constitutional rule. We held elections in every war we’ve ever been in when they were scheduled.

      Hot take it was a positive “terrible joke” by Trump. The hack reporter was attacking Ukraine for not having an election during wartime. Trump just made a joke about it. If it was Vance he would have hound in on and made it a bigger issue to attack Ukraine.

      To joke about something like that is to ignore what it means to be in a war. Zelenskyy immediately recognizes this and says, “No, you don’t want that.”
