This will only escalate after the hot war in Ukraine ends. Expect weekly random attacks without even a fig leaf of deniability, doing damage here and there, causing significant economic and political fallout, but never quite crossing the threshold of the soon-to-be-obsolete Article 5. This is the future of Europe.
This is exactly why I keep saying that NATO is dead. The war this organization was designed to fight will never happen. Instead, Russia will bend Europe to its will by a million cuts and absolutely none will do anything about it in retaliation because it would be political suicide.
