Give him five minutes he’ll make ten claims and refute every one of them in the same sentence. His sentence structure is very obvious: [lie], [truth], [weasel words that confirm the lie and the truth].

“We think… you know a lot of people are saying air cover is good very good, but some say no and it would be unfair to President ~~Daddy~~ Putin so maybe not and we shouldn’t, so we’re checking into it and we will decide in two weeks. You know I called him and he promised we don’t need to.”

Why isn’t EU providing air support. The war is in their backyard.

    3. The almighty coalition of the willing are not so willing to do it themselves, what a hole Europeans have dug themselves into.

I would like to point out, that the US (Biden) was originally one of the countries that pushed for action against Russian aggression in Ukraine. I guess their word only counts until the next election.

So, no deal. Air support means shit, unless they are going to be stationed in Ukraine. You need troops on the ground in the country, to better prevent Russia from invading. Because if they attack and kill any US and NATO troops, that would constitute a war.

We already had maybe security assurances, now we gonna get maybe security guarantees.

    8. Seems like the U.S. is maintaining ambiguity about the security guarantees in order to bring everyone to the negotiations table and then will slowly suggest fewer and fewer security guarantees until providing no tangible one.

Trump is a chicken shit with zero morals and the intestinal fortitude of a puppy…. How did he get elected 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

    10. This guy everyday proves how dumb the Art of the Deal is and how he has no clue how to negotiate. Again and again, he takes almost everything possible off the table, to weaken his position as much as humanly possible.

You don’t admit to being unwilling to send ground troops. You threaten to do it. You make the other guy believe you’re going to do it. Then you get him to give up something so you don’t do it, even though you were never going to do it.

It’s just… anyone who still thinks Trump is a dealmaker is just beyond salvation.
