Did you figure that out before or after they installed illegal police stations on our territory?
I don’t want our military resources to be wasted on the other side of the world serving the geopolitical interests of Trumps US, when we have Russia at home being a direct threat to our territory and our freedom. We can’t count on the US protecting us anymore so we have to set some priorities.
It looks like Europe is in a perfect storm: sales in both the US and China will fall, while Europe’s expenses will increase (including military spending and aid to Ukraine).
What can be done to balance the situation? Increase taxes on the wealthy?
Easy gramps, Europe can’t even manage the problems on its own continent. You want to add beef with China on top of the war with Russia and the trade disputes with the US. Are you trying for some hat trick achievement where Europe bests Russia, China, and the US at the same time or is it just past your bedtime and you are getting a little loopy?

It boggles my mind how inept some European politicians are, yet they keep getting voted in to office somehow. Why on earth do the Germans believe they can take on the US, Russia, and China at the same time, especially when they’re heavily dependent.

I’m Chinese and I’ve to say that my stand is pro Euro not only there are many common interests between euro and China also the civilization and history inspiring me deeply. But euros politicians seem they prefer as the flunky or pumpet of American and being good at turning potential friend into enemy. That absolute not meet both interests. And I don’t want to talk about euro especially German domestic politics like social or economic problems, at least before making troubles with China German better taking care of themselves.
