In fairness, why would you wan’t a drone hovering around your house! 🏠 Your home is your sanctuary.

This is one time the NIMBYs have it right. No-one’s livelihood depends on drones. No-one benefits from drones in a meaningful way. People will be hurt from the additional air traffic directly and indirectly. Fuck right off with them.

If it’s not for something critical like medicine delivery or a rescue operation, I wouldn’t want drones over my place

I wonder if drones were only able to fly over roads would it partially solve the problem in that a lot less houses would be effected. At the moment they fly straight from point A to point B which naturally means they are going to be flying over a lot of houses. On the face of it it does seem unfair that a drone can fly over 20 or 30 houses and disturb them all so someone can get a takeaway delivered. Plus this industry in only in its infancy, no doubt they have plans for 10x the amount of drones they have right now.

      More drone complainers…

I live near one of their bases and they really aren’t an issue compared to road traffic.

Any business that flies a drone over my house and garden is getting review bombed into oblivion from me.

    7. The problem is – drones make a lot more noise than someone on a bike. A lot of people living next to these drone routes complain about noise.

You might be able to run them if they’re over a busy road. People who live next to a place with a lot of traffic are a lot less likely to notice any new noise.
