You can get jars, hard plastic containers, or these. They are considered “refill” packages.

    2. Yes, those are for refills. Its to save weight and material.

It is to allow people to reuse the glass containers they may have at home.

Buying these packages tend to be cheaper then the glass containers. While the glass containers can be washed and reused.

are you supposed to put it in a jar at home?

      Yes, exactly that.

I do this every few weeks with the lingonberry jam. The jar goes through the dishwasher in between, of course. The plastic “sausage” is cheaper, easier to carry, won’t break and you don’t have to take the glass jar out for recycling in the end.

The price for that container is less than glas or Hard plastic. And yes, you put it in a jar at home. 🙂

Yes, its for refilling jars. So you dont have to buy a jar every time. Its a cheaper packaging to produce, not as heavy.

Yes, you are supposed to refill your already purchased cans that you have at home. It´s also better for the environment with less packaging. These refills are usually cheaper than buying the original can/product etc.

    9. because fuck you for wanting to enjoy jam without getting it on your fingers that’s why

then your scissors get dirty cutting it open and it’s exactly what you deserve

    10. Wastes less material and is more environmentally friendly to have refills you can buy. You empty them into containers you have at home so you don’t waste as much material by buying a new container every time.

Take a sugrör and push it inside. Then enjoy your meal.

As a Swede I had no idea. I have always just put the rinsrynsgröt directly from the package on to my skål and eaten it. Now I will try emptying it into a glass jar. Because the other way is pretty messy.

      > are you supposed to put it in a jar at home?

Yep. You buy a jar with whatever product you want, and next time you just buy one of these and reuse the jar.

OR you can just cut a small hole and squirt it directly into your mouth al night as a nice TV-snack, highly recommended.
