Norvegia, Svezia, Danimarca e Belgio interromperanno le spedizioni di pacchi negli Stati Uniti a partire dal 23 agosto

German DHL as well.

Norway Post will not accept any parcels to USA with a value below $800.

Parcels with a value above that will have normal customs clearance as today, and will continue to be sent.

Same with Iceland

Austrias postal service will also end parcel transfer to the US.

To be fair, it’s pretty insane that goods under $800 are simply allowed in without duties or taxes. The limit for that in the EU is 45 euros.

It puts American sellers at a massive disadvantage because they need to pay duties and potentially sales tax when they ship to customers, but those same customers could order from a Chinese seller and pay nothing.

We should just boycott anything American let them be American alone as Trump and Maga want

What confuses me the most here is that isn’t it the receiver’s responsibility to do the customs declaration? At least that’s how it works here in Sweden.

It’s because de minimis is being suspended. The same thing was going to happen with china but it was never cancelled. Something will happen behind the scenes and de minimis won’t go away.
