Vedo che alcune case tedesche moderne hanno scanalature tra il soffitto e alcune pareti. Mi sono sempre chiesto a cosa servono, ogni persona che gli chiedo di mi dà una risposta diversa e non li ho visti da nessuna parte del mondo.

    It’s a “Schattenfuge”. Architects loves them.

    It creates a clear cut between different surfaces, making differences in the paint, color etc. Less visible.

  2. The perspective is making it a bit hard to see, but what i see a lot is the celing paint being continued a little down the wall, presumably to create a cleaner transition if the corner is uneven.

    If there is an actual groove there then i would say it’s probably bad drywall installation. The plasterboard may be added but the edges not taped, instead just wallpapered over, creating the groove at the top.

    It seems germans love wallpaper, they avoid plastering and just wallpaper over any crap. I hate it with avengance.

  3. Additionally to what others said, you can try and use those for indirect lighting.
