Fourteen people including three children have been killed and dozens more wounded in a heavy overnight Russian bombardment of Kyiv, Ukrainian officials say.

Tymur Tkachenko, the head of Kyiv’s military administration said more than 20 locations had been hit in districts across the capital. Many of those killed were in a five-storey residential building which was reduced to rubble.

The Kremlin had chosen “ballistics instead of the negotiating table”, said President Volodymyr Zelensky, who reiterated the need for “new, tough sanctions” on Russia.

Ukrainian forces said Russia had fired almost 600 drones and more than 30 ballistic and cruise missiles – the biggest attack on the capital this month.

    2. And the West still refuses to supply Ukraine with some of the needed weapons in order ‘not to escalate’.

    3. The thing I don’t get: WHY aren’t politicians calling out Russia’s attack on civilians?!

Putin can bs-rationalize a lot, but THAT he cannot. Attacking regular people’s homes in Kiev, there is no excuse for it. You cannot claim that there are soldiers hiding in those places, that would maybe the case in cities closer to the war border, but in the capital, far away from the war front? This is just plain terrorism and Trump and everyone should call out Putin on it and demand an immediate stop.

So the russian tankies just gonna keep silent on this one or? Where are the ones who flooded that Ukrainian conscription post earlier, since this sub is infested with the russian bots? Or are they the ones who now are spamming about ‘EU inaction’ and blabla now to create political gaps again?

Ok… from now on it’s not only Putin’s fault… Trump is responsible for dead Ukrainians too.

It’s just so baffling and infuriating thinking about how many people on here strongly reacted to the Century of Humiliation article.

Meanwhile news like this are being reported all the time, Germany’s industry is catering, both France and UK struggle to service their debt and there’s talk about the IMF bailing either out.

EU officials flailing to respond to this. All we have is words.

But it’s always someone else’s fault, and we have no agency.

Either you shape history or it shapes you.
