Japan is a NATO partner. This is good news for the UK and Europe as the US becomes an increasingly unreliable ally.

This is a big deal for Japan. They find it difficult because of their laws to take military equipment to other countries or accept others in as it can be considered importing or exporting weapons. Which is very complex for them and it’s been slow to progress. Which is a real shame for their defence market because some of their stuffs quite good.
I thought Japan had a self defence force that had limitations on range and operations?
