Lead member for children and families services… How can a computer science undergraduate, a very difficult degree, also manage such an important service? I hope people are seeing how reform are performing locally, because they are showing that they don’t care as long as they get the publicity
So did they put forward inexperienced young guys for council elections to attract the youth vote, or are they the best reform could come up with?
I went to uni with a guy who tried to run for Mayor Of Manchester and got himself sectioned
Remember, a sign of competency is to know what you don’t know and can’t do.
Lots of councillors have other full time jobs don’t they? I’m not saying he’s necessarily the best person for this position, but that’s not because he has other commitments.
If Reform actually win the next election (which as I’ve said before I have doubts about, but its *possible*), this will end up happening on a national level.
Uni can be stressful, watch him say a bunch of racist things and blame it on “stress” lol
I fucking hate reform… But having worked in local authorities, nearly all Councillors have full time jobs, the pay is like 18k lol you need a job so it’s hard to argue a uni student couldn’t fit it in. Secondly, the average age of Councillors is like 60. Some young blood not a bad thing.
I thought that Farage wanted to ban working from home??
While he’s obviously far too young, plenty of councillors will have full time jobs. So I fail to see how uni, practically part time for most students, is an issue in terms of time
Surprised to see a Reform member with a higher education to be honest.
