Lock him up and throw away the key. No wonder no one wants to work in prisons, they can get you even when you’re not working there anymore

Kind of insane that he had a phone in prison after being imprisoned for drugs. When the phone was found, he offered to bribe the prison officer to keep quiet about the phone which also detailed an affair with a female prison officer. After that he threatened to kill him and made credible threats, stating where he lived (describe the house), what his wife and children looked like.

They released him after the drugs sentence, rearrested and put him on bail for the phone offense.

Then he shot and killed the ex prison officer 4 years after the phone was found.

He should have never been let out in the first place. Should have been charged for the phone, the threats to kill and sentenced further.

Meanwhile, prison officer had to move prisons 3 times, had been offered a bribe which he rejected, credibly threatened to be killed. Yet the thing that stopped him being a prison officer was a violent altercation with a prisoner resulting in his firing. Lost an honest guy, a physically fit big guy, who was training BJJ. Ideal prison officer.
