Let’s be honest. What will probably happen is that one of the major western economies will collapse under its own weight, and only then will these people finally understand the meaning of fiscal sustainability.
Until then, we will continue to spend money we dont have, and the middle classes will disappear.

I would sure as hell care more if france didn’t do strikes every other week. I am sure its a bad budget but considering they strike about everything i instantly doubt them. Boy who cried wolf and all
I read in the article that they propose to scrap two public holidays. Such a nonsensical measure. People are tired of everything and overtaxed. Why piss them off even more? How about they scrap all holidays but just for politicians, instead?
Let me guess goberment gives money for the big companies, tax exemption for the rich while fucking the middle class and lower, did i predict correctly?
Taxing the rich is the only way forward.
There will continue to be pressure on the middle and lower class until it reaches a boiling point. People are getting poorer and poorer, yet the governments keep asking more from them.
It is a mathematical problem with one solution. You can’t ask something from someone who doesn’t have it.
No fiscal policy will fix this, do not be disillusioned, the policy will work for a few years, then another budget will be proposed, repeat the cycle
