You expect women magazines to be consistent and have science based advice?

The „cool girl“ monologue applies whether you’re 20 or 50+.

You gotta be slim, but at no point in your life should it look like you actually work for it.

The themes for ‚female interest magazines‘ have been the same for over 100 years, across continents

Yellow press is even more crazy than this.

Roberto Blanco his secret is now surfaced, why did this woman now have the strength to speak about it!

She was a cleaner and found a flask of nail polish that the star used to mask a bruise under his nail after he had his hand between the car and the car door.

These rags are annyong as shit. Always the same contents.

I sometimes have to stock them as part of my part time job and it’s insane how the covers basically just swap every other day.

‘Tips to slim down’ + ‘New cakes for the season’.

    Next day

‘New secret about Lady Diane. Harry finally spoke out!’ [She’s been dead for DECADES] + ‘Florian Silbereisen and his harsh life…’

    Next day

‘Slim down with this 1 trick’ + ‘Our tips for the Autum cuisine. A stick of deep fried butter.’

Page 3 – “How to get the man you want!”

    Page 7 – “How to dispose of a corpse….”

This BTW is what people had flocked to before we had Tiktok. The brain rot has always been there.

Well that’s because as a woman, you should know how to cook and bake and also be slim and petite but also have curves and be strong but not too strong to not intimidate men also be healthy and also make cakes and wear dresses but also not care…

I’m a dude and I find this tiresome as fuck

  10. This isn’t, of course, unique to Germany; and neither is it new. It’s not even unique to magazines: pretty much all of pop culture and marketing is saturated with the idea that women have to live up to an unattainable ideal for the benefit of men, as [this very old skit demonstrates](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hv3qPM8BLdE).

And just when you thought maybe we’d grown out of it at long last, the “tradwife” trend hits social media.

(Of course, as some of the people who comment on my YouTube videos have pointed out, I’m just beta cuck libtard with a ponytail, so what do I know?)

This is so toxic. The same bs as men magazines. Cliché, gender stereotypes, social pressure to fit into your gender role.

Maybe the idea is that you first stuff yourself with cake, then stuff yourself with slimming hormones to counteract the cake?

Just don’t forget to buy the supplements to counteract the side-effects of the slimming hormones, and the essential oils to counteract the side-effects of the supplements, and the globuli to optimize the effect of the essential oils, and a session with a healer to align the globuli with your chakras, and a nice big piece of cake to reward yourself for all the hard work you’ve put in to improve your health.

Yeah, you should bake all this delicious stuff but don’t you dare eat it yourself. And if you do, see how easy it is to loose weight you barely have to do anything for it. /s

  14. Cosmic_Surgery on

Well, nobody below 50 is buying these anymore. It’s mostly AI generated horseshit for braindead grannies

„bild der frau“ perfekter titel für so ein Magazin eigentlich

At first, I was like why is Claire Danes on the cover of a German women’s magazine…

Unfortunately, it is also very common to use PMS or menstruation as an excuse for binge eating.

There is a whole industry surrounding body weight (weight loss industry, fitness industry, etc.) that sees no point in anyone becoming healthy. It’s just profit.
