Worst case scenario you now have 4 outside storage cubes

Go to Google, type your town followed by the word glass. Call them and give them to size of glass you want. Tell them what it’s for and ask what they suggest in terms of type of glass and thickness. They might suggest 8mm thick toughened glass. Shouldn’t be too expensive.

Go to a glass merchant. Get chamfered toughened glass. But it may be cheaper to just replace the whole unit.

The price for another table with glass is likely cheaper than the glass alone unfortunately.

You want 6mm toughened polished glass. As others have said, whatever glass company is closest to you.

Did it explode of its own accord or did an external force smash it?

Oh no! That looks the same as my cube so hopefully they’re not prone 🫣
Did something happen? Could you ask for a replacement based on it being crap strength?

Replacing it with something besides glass would probably be easier and cheaper?

I had same table wife made me buy it. I never liked it. I “accidentally” smashed it on purpose

Interesting looking table, where are your knees supposed to go when your sitting at it?

Get laminated glass instead of toughened glass. It’s cheaper and does the same job.

Outdoor glass tables are a death trap. We bought one when we bought our house 8 years ago. Went inside to make a coffee while my wife was outside sitting down and I heard a massive explosion. The glass shattered for no reason whatsoever and gave her a few cuts. The glass used on these tables are completely subpar and massively dangerous. I’ll never have another one.

May i suggest replacing it with plexiglass? That could be cheaper and should prevent future breaks to a degree.

120cm x 120cm for reference will cost you €**151.11** on this site [https://glassonline.ie/products/table-top-glass-toughened-polished](https://glassonline.ie/products/table-top-glass-toughened-polished)
Glass2glass on the Ballymount Road I can’t recommend them enough. Hope this helps👍
Get €3500 a month for that on daft.ie
In order to not break the bank, I’d suggest not replicating whatever you did to break the table on the bank.
It’s the end of summer. You’ll likely find a new table for far cheaper than a piece of glass. Your husband is incredibly lucky he wasn’t injured.
