Sami want to protect forest so they can take full advantage of forests themselves through their reindeers. Protecting nature is bs as long as they keep breaking environmental laws and overfishing(also illegal) in name of preserving culture.
A little off topic, but how do the Sami live in Finland today? I know they were treated very badly in the past.
