Interesting that they quote only the number of boats, not the number of people. Maybe the boats are getting bigger? If its working, though, fair enough.
Still early to tell for sure, but hopefully it’s the beginning of a trend caused by the “1 in, 1 out” system, as well the hostile environment of the last few months.
In terms of number of migrants, it’s the lowest since 2021 for August, if that’s of any interest to anyone
