La sospensione dell’indennità per l’educazione degli adulti ha ridotto il numero di candidati per l’educazione sociale e sanitaria. Le ultime statistiche mostrano che il numero di candidati per studi di laurea in diversi campi è diminuito quest’anno.

Think about the savings! But joking aside, I suspect this whole thing was implemented just to channel funds to private employment agencies.
This also did a number on the job openings for the newly graduated. No people going to further education, no new job openings.
