Ciao! Mi scuso se questo non è il posto dove chiedere questo, ma non sono sicuro di dove altro andare. Sto cercando un modello di tessuto specifico da oltre un anno. È estremamente sentimentale per me perché è stato usato per fare un vestito per mia figlia che è morta. Grazie ad alcuni sleuth su questo sito, sono stato in grado di trovarne alcuni in vendita. Sono stato in grado di trovarlo solo su un sito. Il problema, tuttavia, è che è in vendita a livello locale in un negozio a Suinola. Spediscono localmente in Finlandia o nell’UE. Vivo nel nord degli Stati Uniti. A causa di tutto ciò che accade negli Stati Uniti, è ancora più difficile di quanto sarebbe stato negli anni passati (per favore non farmi iniziare, sappi solo che non sono d’accordo con il nostro governo). Mi chiedo se sarebbe opportuno inviare un messaggio all’e -mail elencata sul sito. So che molte persone in Finlandia parlano inglese, ma non voglio assumere e offendere nessuno poiché il sito è in finlandese. In secondo luogo, mi chiedo se questo è qualcosa di fattibile. Se il venditore decide di spedirlo a me (per cui pagherò extra ovviamente) il sistema post finlandese invia a livello globale da piccole città come questa? Se qualcuno potesse darmi qualche informazione, sarebbe così apprezzato perché non ho idea da dove cominciare. Grazie!

If the seller ships globally you have no problems other than customs fees. If they won’t, send me a message. I would be willing to help out to get this fabric to you.
Edit: it’s perfectly fine for you to ask the seller in English! If they don’t understand it, they should be able to use a translator online.
It doesn’t hurt to ask. There is no reason for them to feel offended from a polite request, even when it is in English.
Feasibility, well, that is a though one. Currently (since last week?) Finnish Post does not accept any goods bound to US, because… well, you know. No-one knows if that lasts for a week or half a year. Otherwise destination does not matter as long as it is served by USPS.
Courier companies could be an option, but many sellers won’t bother, as those can mean extra work.

Note that the Finnish postal service Posti, as well as many others in Europe, have recently stopped all shipments to the US due to issues related to the tariffs.
Because of that, it is possible that the services they use do not currently allow shipping to the US, and it also makes it harder for individuals to ship things themselves.
