Unfortunately they are refusing to comment on the breakdown between AI cases and old-school cheating cases. That would be very interesting to know.
They better learn not to get caught before they go to college!
My wife is a teacher. The AI thing is going to be a bigger issue going forward.
The issue with ai is super hard to catch unless it’s very very blatant. I mean it wouldnt take much to ai a whole project then ask it to edit it based on a previous essay you did. Also that would make it super hard then and there is way to much chance of a false positive. That said this ai stuff will get way worse before it gets better.
