Well, his sacking after a few weeks makes a lot more sense now.

The ways things are going you could put a Reform UK rosette on a donkey in many parts of the country and it would win.
If Reform do win, with their spectacularly bad vetting processes we’ll probably still have months of political scandals. The newspapers will be rubbing their hands with glee.
