Andiamo Tesco. Questi pacchetti di 10 piccole bottiglie d’acqua non sono mai stati assolutamente € 7,50. Questo è un comportamento scandaloso. E il prezzo non include DRS.

    Sono costantemente a questo.

This is the reason I avoid Tesco. What a load of shit.

I love the Clubcard price discourse. Everyone bitches and moans. Nobody is forcing anybody to buy these products or use the Clubcard.

This particular product is not an essential with no alternatives. It is a kids sized, flavoured water in plastic bottles. You can, for example, get your child a reusable water bottle and refill it. You could also buy other still water options. You could also shop elsewhere – free market.

    3. I value the Clubcard – by not having one, I’ll never stoop to shop in Tescos. Shitty company

What is the fucking point of flogging bottles of sweetened water like that (presumably for children who ought to have flasks or some other reusable container for water for school) if we are supposed to be serious about conserving resources?
Sure, the plastic might be recycled, but why produce it in the first place for a product like this?.

I’m just crabby because Tesco are offering crap like this but are running out of plain water.

They’ve not had the 5L bottles for ages, nor their own brand 2L, which at least kept the cost down if you’re obliged to buy all your water bottled.
The minister who brought in the Return scheme said at the start that he was aware that there’d by people unable to return bottles, but still dependent on a large volume every week, and reassured us he’d be on supermarkets’ backs to keep those deposit-exempt 5L bottles always available. Not had one in yonks.
But it’s actually getting close to panic stations now, as their available still water, from any brand, is really really scarce.
I know we had a heatwave but come on Tesco, get it together! 🙏🏻

    5. You your data have become as valuable to them as any other product they sell.

    6. Reminds me of why I love Aldi – none of this ‘loyalty’ nonsense (and rapid checkouts)

They’re paying the €5 to get your data. I copy a family members card in the klarna app.

I choose not to shop there because I don’t support this behavior.

We just ignoring that kids don’t need different water?

Said this when it first became a regular occurrence. Especially for OAPs and the likes who would easily forget, this is just robbery.

Don’t shop in Tesco if you are outraged at this

Not like you don’t have other options

Buying 10 Tiny bottles of water you deserve to be scammed.

People whinge not getting a club card because of ‘ohh my data’ but don’t have a problem signing up with social media such as Reddit which gets more data than just the food you’re buying.

    15. Upbeat-Team-5561 on

I think it’s great, stops me buying anything in Tesco.

    16. Endlessly fascinated by Reddits hatred of the Clubcard. Worked out well for me though, I put mine up on here a few years back and loads of people took it and I get literally hundreds of Euro in vouchers every year.

    17. bringinsexyback1 on

      Data data data.
Clubcard is a way for companies to know what particular users are buying and take a closer look at buying trends. Sell the insights to show catered customised ads because the card connects to our account that has our email.
Basic corporate tracking stuff. But sucks ass. We pay for it.

    18. OppositeHistory1916 on

Club cards and the like should be made illegal, they are ridiculous and exploitative.

    19. I think anyone that calls it ”Tescos” should have to pay the rip-off price, while normal civilized folks who call it ”Tesco” should get the cheaper price.

    20. Shnapple8 on

People who buy these deserve to be scammed. Can’t they just buy a large bottle of flavoured water and use a small re-useable water bottle for their child’s lunches?
