Racism/nationalism is just a way to keep the poor plebs hating each other…
Sure let me take my child to a school that it will get picked on or dismissed by the teachers for “one of their own” to prosper… Teachers that don’t give the effort to learn english expect an immigrant child to learn Greek. The hypocrisy.
I don’t think this has anything to do with private schools though. When I was in a private school in Limassol all my classmates 50%+ of which were foreigners did greek lessons and could speak greek. Any good school public or private should aim to prepare its students for life and if they don’t teach them greek that just means it is a bad private school. Also 800 euros per month is pretty cheap we paid more 😅
