Nelle aree temporaneamente occupate dell’Ucraina, in particolare nelle cosiddette “LPR”, le persone stanno affrontando una carenza di carburante in corso.
Le autorità di occupazione lo respingono come “questioni logistiche temporanee” e insistono che la situazione è sotto controllo. Ma i locali riportano una realtà diversa:
- I prezzi del gas sono aumentati bruscamente
- Enormi linee nelle stazioni di benzina ovunque
- Le carenze si stanno diffondendo in più distretti
Questo è l’ennesimo promemoria che l’occupazione russa non può fornire nemmeno i bisogni più elementari per i civili, lasciando la vita sotto occupazione sempre più desolante e senza speranza.

They could care less about outlying areas.

The good (or bad thing, depending on you physical distance) about fuel shortages is the incompressibility of the market’s demand.
If there is a shortage of avocados people may pay more, or they may opt to eat cheese dip instead of guacamole.
But you cannot opt out of using fuel. If you need 10 liters of diesel for the truck to reach its destination, but you only have 9 liters, you will pay *any* price to get that last liter.
