      Seamus Murphy, the brother of the accused, told the court that he would be willing to take Vincent to hospital and bring him home once assessed.

      Bolger said the accused would address his medical concerns if granted bail and given the opportunity.

      Judge Cheatle said he would not grant bail. He remanded the accused in custody, ordering that he be psychiatrically assessed while in custody.

      I do think it’s a good thing to have the flag displayed more but definitely not in the way it’s being used.

      Wonder if there is a way for the saner cohert to reclaim it.

      I think this man needs help not prison, it’s obviously not the actions of a sane person. I also find it upsetting that people who have been violent towards other people are bailed but damage police property and you are remanded.

      There is a guy driving, speeding to be honest, around my area with Ireland flags sellotaped to the bonnet and boot of his car. People have gone mad but some people have gone fucking mental.
