Mi scuso se questa è una domanda stupida, in realtà l’ho visto un po ‘intorno a Belgrado. È una pratica comune?

Vai piano con me, non vengo dalla Serbia, solo curioso. 🤗

It’s not parking, it’s “stoping to get something done”

It’s not, if someone stops like this he is most likely returning in like 5 minutes, but there are exceptions like thugs who think they own everything in the city and treat it as their backyard.

Our nation is very materialistic, appraising of power-distance, highly uncertainty-avoidant, conformistic and short-term oriented.

Expand that with well-documented rampant corruption, proneness to graft at all levels of society, tax evasion, cronyism, nepotism regardless of the ruling party. Our “honest”, “friendly”, “hospitable” people try their best to con and overcharge any service provided, while complaining about cold Germans or greedy Америчке свиње. We’re fighting a mafia-run state while being willfully ignorant of politics, like corruption is merely an overt brand a party parades.

In short, our people are supersensitive to status, inconsiderate, they like to flex, but they’re also pussies, while the country rewards dumb and uncultured fuckwits through political patronage as the primary mechanism of social mobility.

Oh, and urban planning is crap and ecology-related worries are just a virtue signal without any meaningful green action.

It’s usually common in most cities, however it indicates that someone is going to go get something quickly, but in some cases it means that they just parked there for the day, which might seem rude but it’s really normal, don’t bother.

I always took it as trying to leave as much space as possible for the oncoming traffic.

It’s a code for “I have a small dick and very insecure about it” in Serbian.

the more expensive your car, the less you have to pay for parking, its a fact

Caveman mentality. We also call such specimens “beefhead” or Teleća glava (someone who is very obtuse and arrogant), you will see them parking on the pedestrian crossings, sidewalks, pedestrian zones, etc. These people are predominantly from rural areas of Serbia, got rich through some under the counter work and consider such display of their car and prerogative to park everywhere to be peak lifestyle. A lot of them come from the mainstream media/folk scene.

This layer of society is still present in most countries of Ex-Yugoslavia, all except Slovenia.

    9. I’d take this any day instead of leaving it on the road with all 4 blinkers on and blocking the street. It’s a lesser evil.

They somehow made it legal on half the sidewalks… No wonder people park on them everywhere now 🤷😪

Људи дубоког џепа са добрим колима и екстремно малим сапутником практикују овакво паркирање. Немој и ти да почнеш љуби брат, доста нам је оваквих.

      What and?

This is only for 5 minutes to buy something to eat.
