Imagine doing all that and not turning up to the uni.
This one family will end up taking the tax contributions of several working people for their upkeep. And they came here on ONE person’s student visa.
Why are we debating any appeal? Why do they get more than one? Even as a very left wing guy, they should have no right to remain here when they came here illegally and exploited the system. It is great they have helped to shine a light on what we need to tackle but that changes nothing about what they did. This is why we are seen as a soft touch by many people: we are too trusting and forgiving, even when we know people have entered illegally without a genuine asylum claim or student visa.
