Rabid free speech advocate only wants his media fwends to hear what he has to say. Wuss.

Are their supporters really dumb enough to back this whilst Nigel accuses the UK of becoming like ‘North Korea’?

Maybe they genuinely can’t hold two thoughts in their brain simultaneously

    3. Bastions of free speech, scared of free speech and accountability.

Yet again the biggest ‘free speech’ advocates are the first to shut down any critics.

Free speech *but only if you are far right and agree with us!*

Mmmmm, I wonder if the Labour party have ever barred any journalists from their party conference? 🤔

    7. Reform MPs and councillors trying to defend this and making half-arsed comments about why this is acceptable is incredibly uncomfortable to watch.

On Politics Live they parachuted in some Reform MP (because Zia Yusuf couldn’t be bothered) and she really couldn’t answer simple questions around this, other than the usual bile of “Farage talks to anyone”. Clearly not.

They showed Führage being grilled in the US doing his usual “I am the only politician to answer questions” which wasn’t an answer to the question “why are you banning local media from attending talks.”

The whole party is a joke, yet idiots still think they are for the people.

She ended the grilling with “I am fully booked with questions from the media, I don’t recognise what this paper is.” The New World is a fairly well-known media company, at least for anyone that actually engages with the media. It was previously called The New European.

Is there a “anyone but Reform” movement one can join?

There’s an easy way to get around this. Pass a law that media cannot be banned from party conferences. A minor political win for Labour that might benefit them.

Anti free speech move by an undemoctatic, quasi-political ‘business’.

Reactionary conservatives literally just being the very problem they promise the public they’ll solve.

      Its not a new story.

Just sad so many people have been trapped in this for 10+ years but can’t bring themselves to see it for what it is.

    12. I *wish* it was shocking. I really do. It’s not even surprising though. Outrageous, certainly. Embarrassing for sure. But not remotely surprising.

So no outside or independent views allowed?

      Seems rather cultish no?

Farage was questioned about this in the state’s and he denied it repeatedly. He claimed he was the most open minded person!

Well, Farage doesnt want his Russian money friends to be identified hob-nobbing

Again, this is all from the Trump playbook. He bans journos who are from non-sympathetic publications from being in the White House press corps.
