It’s such a shame to see all these flags from across the UK being bastardised by these far right groups. Hopefully the police involvement helps and these workers can get back to work

I don’t mind flags at all. During the jubilee with all the street parties, and the 2012 Olympics you saw loads of them.
It feels good to be proud of where you’re from — and to celebrate that.
What I have a problem with is the far right using them as a method of intimidation.
Interesting that this has been up for an hour now and hasn’t been flooded by far right enjoyers calling everyone else unpatriotic. Have all the bots been redirected away from “flags” to “Farrage” after his recent US trips gone down like a sloppy turd.
Hmmm there’s a word for threatening government with political based demands and using threats and fear to achieve that end.
What is the word? I’m stuck on a crossword don’t mind me. 9 letters.
Put the flag on your own house if you want but not public property … lampposts etc
