Jim O’Callaghan definitely a big upgrade compared to Roderic O’Gorman.
Lot of work to bring down overall migration still though
I mean, not like it’s so difficult to do things by the book and become a citizen in this country. So the only reason why these 42 people didn’t do it, is because they had no intention to do things by the book.
But fair play to the other (nearly) 100 who left on their own accord.
A massive operation that resulted in 42 deportations doesn’t seem very massive. I mean you’d pass 42 Brazilians when walking down the street.

The deportations were criminals that were either in prison or recently released with a deportation order. The ones who came forward probably had the order but fancied the free flight home rather than paying a few hundred quid.
