Aiuto, è una ragazza piuttosto grande, non può volare, non riesco a vedere il nido. È un piccione? Non sono sicuro se ferito, è stato in grado di saltare in giro quando ha visto il mio cane.

Looks like a fledgling pigeon yes. AFAIK it’s common enough for newly fledged pigeons to be out of the nest before they can properly fly. I would leave it where it is as if this is the case the parents are probably still around caring for it.

The parents are somewhere nearby, keeping an eye out while the baby pigeon learns to fly. Spending some time on the ground us a normal part of learning to fly.

It’s a pigeon, many types of birds will drop out of the nest and will learn on the ground before they take flight.

Bring the chick home for the cat to play with and then eat.

I have seen Blackbird fledglings rooting under bushes, this is normal behaviour as it protects them while they learn to scavenge.
The bird in the picture is bigger than a Blackbird but it maybe exhibiting the same behaviour.

    6. Parents could be about, but if not seen within a good few hours, it’s likely he or she won’t last long tbh. I get it 2 or 3 times a year in my garden with blackbirds. Some make it, some don’t. The only time I’ve intervened is if the chick is stuck under the shed, or if the local cats get the scent.

It’s a woody, leave it be, nature is doing it long before us.
