Toy back at it with his naff stencils and GCSE level political commentary, I’m sure this sub is gonna lick it up though.

Has he/she ever been identified? I know there are names out there, but it all seems to be speculation. There must be CCTV footage of that being done.

Criminal damage caused by spraying paint? With the aim of making political change?
That’s terrorism, that is. Anybody who doesn’t agree needs locking up.

I heard banksy sorts r/im14andthisisdeep by top for his inspiration.

The reason Banksy has never been arrested and prosecuted is because he’s wealthy and influential. Otherwise he’d have been caught already. Imagine if some poor, ordinary sod tried this in central London.
So it’s a bit rich to criticise a system that gives him special treatment.

They’ve already covered it up. Can’t have a passer-by see it and make the connection.

Attacking judges – who don’t generally get to speak up for themselves – is very easy and also very stupid. We benefit from having a group of people who try at least to independently enforce the law that has been arrived at democratically without themselves trying to decide whether it is OK or not.
The stupidity of arresting lots of Palestine Action people is mostly a mix of (1) very broad anti-terrorism legislation passed by Parliament and (2) proscription of PA. Both of these were done by large numbers of MPs. They are surely the main target. The arrests were carried out by police. The judiciary just pick up the mess at the end and do their best.
Also: English judges don’t have gavels.

That’ll be hanging on Boris’ wall by the end of the week.

I’m not sure what point he’s trying to make here? AFAIK no protestors arrested for support of Palestinian Action have yet to be brought to court, and as far a judge’s involvement goes they’ve ruled that Palestinian Action can appeal against the group’s ban by the Home Office, and have more recently ruled that the Home Office can challenge PA’s right to appeal. All seems pretty diplomatic to me.
Vilifying the judiciary is usually a right wing talking point, which usually isn’t Banksy’s MO.

I can’t quite tell. Is that Lucy Connolly on the ground?

Our government was literally arresting council estate aunties for posting racist memes on facebook last year

His mural would have worked better at a more general problem than a fashion driven topical one:
* “Is the law made for Human Reality or is Human Reality made for the law?”
1. Already modern physical environments are very synthetic.
2. Invisible rules, regulations and innumerable laws makes for a very alien psychological and social environment also on top of the former.

A missed opportunity.
