You cant sell out a cause or group youve never been part of or cared about tbf.
But hold on I was told that Reform was the authentic voice of the working class.
It has to be, its front man is a privately educated Thatcherite ex-stockbroker and we all know how much working people do well out of rampant market speculation and trickle down economics since we’ve been doing it for forty years.
Amusing to think that Mr Investment Banker and non-attending politician who banks with Coutts ever gave a flying fuck about them.
TUC were obviously taken in by the working class first name “Nigel”.

I was working in warehousing during Brexit and I remember a similar schism then between unions and their members.
Unions were speaking out against Brexit, but their reps and members in warehouses were walking around with [leave.eu](http://leave.eu) badges they’d organised at a local level.
A union branded and issued poster giving the union’s reasons against Brexit was posted on the union notice board in the canteen. Members complained about “propaganda” and a rep took it down and said it must have been put up by a manager.
What is left to sell out? The triple lock? Not that Nigel will do anything helpful either way, but he will probably be your PM in 2029 if not strung up by his ankles before then. People will turn to folks like him if desperate and out of options.
“Nasty Nigel” or “bumbling but well meaning Kier,” what a choice. Take it from a visiting yank, never forget: It can always get worse!
