      They don’t work, people associate coca cola with usa just like mcdonalds,Ford etc. And these ads are just weird

      Should market german roots of fanta more heavily to show that coke stands with germany thru thick and thin. It will be highly appealing to AfD suporters.

      It’s kinda ridiculous how eager Europeans were to boycott American products the moment they felt like they could, but have been pretty ok with buying Chinese cell phones and cars, and Russian gas for a long while now. Despite it all, Europe still has far more in common with the U.S. than either of those two dictatorships.

      Most people already know the bottles are filled in their countries, but on the other hand there’s no product more associated with the US than Coca Cola.

      As an Austrian of course I feel the urge to advise drinking “Almdudler” or “Schartner Bombe” instead. As a health conscious person, have you ever heard of water?

      Ha! They’ve done this in South Africa too through Springboks sponsorship. They made the cans green and basically look like a green and yellow South African colours on Coke and Powerade products. They’re being boycotted by BDS here and there’s been a bunch of local companies launching their own colas but also a Palestine cola from the Netherlands that stores are carrying.

      All the brewing companies need to do, is cut the ties and affiliation to certain countries. The recipe etc, can and should stay the same. Just stop paying to the brand name and let’s continue.

      Well yeah, those ads have been around for months now – strange people looking into the camera for too long, just to make sure you can see that their souls have already left their bodies

      The fact that BMW, Hugo Boss, Farben, Krupps and other companies still have their same names but Coca-Cola feels the need to change their ‘name’ or ‘brand’ is more telling about Europe and European culture and the insanity of the current world than any other contemporary action.

      A boicot against Coca-Cola would be effective if it were an alternative that tastes like it.

      Rebrand my ass, they are trying to raise prices. My store isn’t getting any more Coke because they are demanding 20 bucks for a case.
