The most dishonest PM the UK has ever had, in the news again.

Yes, like the abba party, it was watched over by the metropolitan police who did nothing and have quietly pretended not to see or hear all the times it’s mentioned
This is typical of Johnson . The “boy King” who illegally prorogued Parliament, lied to HM Queen etc etc.
Should have his mansion confiscated, passport voided and made to to do community service .

This was the situation where Johnson illegally embezzled funds form the Conservative Party to fund the redecoration, then had to find a Conservative Party donor to agree to say they had donated the amount to Johnson personally, rather than to the Conservative Party, to cover it up. The donor then reimbursed the Party for the money Johnson had embezzled, with Johnson lying about it to the person he appointed to investigate whether he had broken any rules.
The Conservative Party ended up being fined by the Electoral Commission for not accounting for things properly.
Just a nice criminal conspiracy, where all that happened was the Party had to pay a fine.
It was one of the many situations with Johnson where his team came up with an explanation for what *could* have happened that would have been legal (but didn’t), and then asserted that to be true until proven otherwise.
But both parties are the same, right?

Well he attended parties during lockdown; dinner just seems par for the course.

Was this before or after the “bubble” thing that was introduced with along with whatever other remarkably silly guidance was in place at the time?

This is awful, he should step down immediately, maybe even call an election so we can throw his government out.

Perfectly safe… the virus never decends below 1.5m altitude – which is why diners were allowed to remove masks. He was just following the science.
Also true of musical performances: Brass and Woodwond players were advised to put a hole in the mask allowing them to play, presumably because the virus does not like music.

I think we all knew what ‘we knew’, was only the tip of the berg. Now it seems the door is ajar. What happens next will be interesting. My guess, nothing.

This is why every time a wealth tax is mentioned that the general public find to find traction. The wealthy who avoid tax have friends on the inside. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/jan/06/boris-johnson-accused-corruption-great-exhibition-text-flat-refurb
