      Well, thank you, Mr. Merz, for your helpful insight. Do we have any plans to stop such things from happening apart from meetings, condemnations, or strongly worded letters? It’s all good and well to plan meetings,but afterwards, it’s expected there’s going to be actions taken, preventive measures if you will.

      We’ll probably see more EuroNATO air defense systems deployed along Poland’s border and even more European fighters in air bases in Poland while the Poles await the delivery or activation of systems they bought from the USA.

      The fact that a senior German politician is willing to use such direct language shows how far relations have deteriorated since 2022. This could be laying the groundwork for more NATO-wide coordination on defense.
