Good; this country is regulated into the ground. I swear we hate anyone getting anything done.

Great /s get rid of any competition regulator on behalf of the bvca then wonder why you cant get a lid on inflation and by extension borrowing costs and fiscal balance.

So PEs can come in, buy British companies, strip and sell the assets then take that money to the US or wherever…
This should be good for the UK economy!

When all you have is a hammer, every problem becomes a nail.
When all you have is endless meetings with the representatives of firms who can pay for those meetings, then…
A big problem with our political sphere more generally is that we don’t really have much *independent* policy making. So much of it is pawned off to secondees from the very firms who that policy is meant to affect. And in practice that can lead to some very lax proposals.

She’s staring down a £40bn black hole with almost no levers left to pull.
Raise taxes and voters crucify her, borrow more and the bond markets crucify her.
So she’s gone for option 3 which is keeping the tax-hating electorate and the markets happy, but locking the UK into managed decline.

Looks like she has forgotten that she’s supposed to be a LABOUR chancellor. Why is she emptying the pockets of ordinary people while sucking up to the billionaires who are also busy making us all poorer?
Time for a total clear out in Westminster. Kick them all out. None of them, Labour, Tories or whatever, seem to be fit to govern!

Taking aim at the Financial Ombudsman Service, because it’s actually standing by its principles of “Fair, Reasonable and Non-Discriminatory”, that’s just cowardice.
But the Financial Ombudsman stands up for Trans and Non-binary people so obviously they’re embarrassing the government and have to go.
