Funny who is allowed to solicit proper tax advice after the fact and who isn’t. Of course Farage doesn’t have all the newspapers hounding him making his tax affairs front page news.

I can’t stand this guy as much as the next but this is a very different set of circumstances to Angela Rayner. There is absolutely nothing illegal about his partner buying a house, not him. Nor did he have to have a house in Clacton to become an MP there so there isn’t a parliamentary rules issue at play here either.

The only thing Farage did wrong was lie when he said he brought it. What a surprise, a serial liar lied again.

Saying that though, I’m still happy to see the press go on at him and call out his lies

This isn’t the “gotcha” that you think it is. Every business owner has tax advisors and accountants. I find it quite amusing watching the Far Left clutching at straws. It won’t stop Reform being the next government. You’ve had your chance and blown it in less than 18 months. 😂

Its very simple Nigel – Provide evidence for where your wife got over £800k from. If it was from you, then you don’t have a leg to stand on criticizing someone like Rayner. Maybe it was totally legal but its still pretty shit behaviour and anyone who isn’t a sycophant blinded by ideology can see it was done to skip out on taxes.

All this fuss – anyone would think he’d ripped off a disabled kids trust fund or something.

I mean there was a big long article before the election with people who had been his mates and colleagues saying how much of a grifter and spiv on the take he is – none of this is a surprise: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/ng-interactive/2024/jun/14/he-was-a-deeply-unembarrassed-racist-nigel-farage-by-those-who-have-known-him
