Newsflash: Paedo sympathiser knew known paedo associate was dodgy and gave role as ambassador to the paedo president of the United States

Pressure seems to be mounting. What’s clear is Starmer either lacks judgement or is not in full control of no.10, or both. Most governments wait a few years or another term before getting to this point with scandals.
Interesting part of the article is that whilst he’s been dismissed from his role, he remains on the government payroll. There’s some suggestion Mandelson might get revenge on the government and won’t go quietly.

I really had low expectations for the success of the labour government, I knew they’d have a hard time standing with the migration stuff and the usual hostile media. But never did I expect them to literally just start sawing their own legs off like this.
For the record I hate reform, like I really do think they’ll be awful in government, but this government has basically done nothing but lay the red carpet out for them with their utter unbridled incompetence. I really do just despair at the current state of affairs, I never thought things would get so depressing so quickly.

This is a new rock bottom for Starmer. Someone should mount a leadership challenge while there’s time to save the party’s reputation (it it’s even possible at this point).

Labour are really turning on themselves faster than I ever thought I could could ever imagine
People like Emily Thornbury demanding answers from colleagues like Yvette Cooper, not just privately during what could be a internal Teams meeting but instead doing the media rounds on places like Sky News and are publically demonstrating how far faction riven the party is right now.
Clearly the Labour Parliamentary MPs have had enough and want Starmers head.
