What about the ones from the other protest? Are they fine?

So they should. I was there, from what I could see it was pretty peaceful but there was always going to be pockets of trouble makers.

One of them literally called for Sir Keir to be assassinated.

One day this is going to get a PM killed.

What would it take to proscribe this violent group?

What will it take for Christian Community leaders to denounce the violence done in the name of their religion?

What about the threats of assassination and insurrection?

What is the political will against these ideas and actions?

    5. Well, that’s the line up for Reform Con 2027 taking shape then.

Why can’t people take an afternoon off being a dick? People are always gonna be a lot less sympathetic to causes that are violent.

Police actually listed the type of injuries received. Never know them do that before. Talking broken bones and teeth type injuries. You don’t get them from a simple push and scuffle, those guys must really have been going for it.

**Us vs them’ thinking is what fuels this.**

People oversimplify complex issues into one or two villains, and anger spreads fast.

Holding them accountable is right, but it’s worth remembering why these narratives catch on: our brains naturally look for shortcuts. When faced with hundreds of interconnected issues, we reduce them to a couple of simple causes that are easy to understand and share through stories.

I mean I see 4 counterprotestors hiding their faces by wearing masks and maybe one in the main protest. Thats usually an indicator of people considering criminal activities. I also haven’t seen any videos of stuff beyond shoving. I haven’t been looking for them but I’m pretty sure if people were ripping up the road for projectiles or lobbing a molotov or two we’d have some footage by now.
