      Rightly so. But I wish they would take the violence directed against immigrants in this country more seriously too. It nearly goes unnoticed at times, but an IPAS centre was firebombed in Tallaght Village, a man was murdered in Clondalkin, a man was stripped and beaten in Tallaght. It’s a terrorist threat at this point.

      What is wrong with people? I don’t like him (as a politician, I don’t know him personally) but to do that sorta shit would never cross my mind.

      The threats are being made online, and from abroad…….

      Give him increased security and get over it – how many politicians around the world get death threats etc online it’s not unusual.

      Irish media giving Harris cover for doing a shit job, and having only ever done a terrible job – he’s done nothing, low grade career politician with mates in the media.

      They should be. He’s deeply incompetent in areas but I believe that he genuinely joined politics to help and make a positive difference.

      All that said none of it matters. He could be Ronán Mullins and i wouldn’t condone it.

      The most frightening part is it seems to be different people who coincidentally threatened him at the same time.
