Romania says a Russian drone has breached its airspace – the second Nato country to report such an incursion.
Romanian fighter jets were in the air monitoring a Russian attack in Ukraine on Saturday and were able to track the drone near Ukraine’s southern border, the defence ministry said in a statement.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the incursion could not be a mistake – it was “an obvious expansion of the war by Russia”. Moscow has not commented on the Romanian claims.
On Wednesday, Poland said it had shot down at least three Russian drones which had entered its airspace.

Probably third, with Lithuania.
Also if you count Russian bombers storming towards your bases, SWEDEN would like a word.

Is it true though? Same incidents with solitary drones took place in Lithuania, maybe even before the first explosion in Poland I think by like a week or two, and Croatia with the 2022 crash in Zagreb (a devastating one: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Zagreb_Tu-141_crash ), not even counting countries outside of NATO it also happened to like Moldova, Poland wasn’t first by any means, just the first time there was that high a number of airspace violations recorded at one time.

Ummm…We were actually the first to experience this long months ago, our politicians were just too lazy to care or do something, talk about it internally.

Lots of goofball sites (I have never heard of) are reporting Iskander missiles moved to Kaliningrad.
Has anyone seen verification of this?

Don’t let them violate NATO airspace. Use 30mm or 35mm ammunition, jamming systems, and as a last resort, even missiles. No drone that enters NATO territory should be allowed to leave, even if it has to be pursued across borders. Don’t let this happen again.

That’s not “news”, it’s an image. And the news have been posted, as well as a response by Russia.

Shitty clickbait title.
Romanian air space has been breached by Russian drones for at least 1 year if not more.

Romania already suffered such incursions last year in September, so no, we are not the second country to report it. It’s just that the Defense Department kept it rather on the low in the past since we couldn’t detect them, and instead relied on Ukrainian intelligence.

A russian drone also crashed before in Latvia and Lithuania

Why wouldn’t Russia stop doing this? EU/Nato doesn’t even try to give a response about the Russian drones on it’s soil, clearly they’re ok with it.

Lithuania was first, Poland second. Romania third.
