Not really praiseworthy. Its like fighting a 60 year old Mike Tyson who shoots himself in the knee in the middle of the fight. You arent winning, he is just losing.

It sucks for expats living in Europe. My Social Security and IRA income is down about 15% since Trump took office due to a drop in the value of the USD relative to the Euro. Dump Trump! He’s killing democracy and the economy.

if Euro is too strong then our product will be too expensive for Us and they will find new suppliers……oh that’s right Trump doesnt want our goods anyway..
Goal should be Euro as the dominant reservcurrency.

USA jobs report is bad.
Lowering interest rate (if it happens) seems to make the stock market happy in the short term for some reason.
But the Fed would only be doing that because they think the US economy is fucked.
The biggest companies in the USA have also gone all in on ai and big data.
Weirdly I think ai and big data might pay off long term but investors are looking for profits in the next quarter and I’m concerned it isn’t going to be there and there will be a dot com bubble like implosion.
Meanwhile unlike ai Trumps tariffs are having real and measurable impacts on quarterly prices and profits and it is all bad news.
I honestly don’t understand why the US stock market is as high as it is.
I can only assume the people buying currency and bonds are different from the rest of the investor class. Outside investors (china, saudi?) Vs local maybe?

Terrible news for countries whose economies are export-oriented, such as Germany.
