Pepsi Max used to be €10 for a slab of 24. Now it’s €9 for 12 when there’s a sale. Prices have gone crazy.

I’ve read there was some investigation and it turns out there is no evidence for supermarket price gauging so we can just bend over and take it at this point. Another way is to gather and protest but well yeah who have time for that right

      Google “inflation”.

Also, shop around and vote with your feet.

Coke prices fluctuate constantly. This isn’t anything new. They’ll be back town to 8 again next week.

I’ve lived in Canada where this is the norm everywhere, and did say those that don’t boycott Tesco wherever possible when they introduced their clubcard scam are going to doom all of us to the same. Once Dunnes and one other retailer do it also, it will be too far gone to save and I hope everyone is looking forward to a weekly brochure dictating what you basically can and cannot buy on any given week (with strict limits to the amount of items on “sale” you are even allowed to buy).

I get that there are a good few people who don’t have alternatives nearby, but if you do – you really need to avoid Tesco whenever possible. And also potentially Dunnes too now, by the looks of it.

If you don’t punish the behaviour, it will only get worse.

At my Dunnes today they said somebody just walked in, grabbed a pack of VitHits and walked out; at 7.10 I wouldn’t blame them.

Save a few quid and skip the genocide juice. There is a boycott on. Do your part.

Its getting close to Christmas. Sweets and mineral prices will be bumped up till after Halloween the put back to the normal price to make people think they are getting a deal.

I got a plain black t-shirt for six quid in the eyre square one last week. They had other ones for a tenner, but they were a different cut or something.

60 dollars (34 euro) for 30 cans in Australia.

      Its more expensive than beer.

    11. You pay €8 euro for less than 4 litres of diet coke which seems insane.

From a pepsi max addict myself, just go straight to Aldi and get their pepsi max, or diet coke 2L knock offs and save yourself a fortune and problem solved

It’s not “no reason”, they’re passing on the increases from suppliers.

You really should cut out that amount of harmful drinks. Keep them as a treat, maybe once per week. Save your body and pocket at the same time. You don’t need to be having that many a week.

Remember when aldi and lidl first came on the scene . They were so cheap and everyone was talking about how great they were .Now look they are just another Tesco dunes In Disguise. Foreign food at the same price

Maybe don’t buy slabs of coke and spend your money on something healthier. There’s nothing wrong with a coke bottle or can every now and then but to buy a slab of it or even a pack of twelve is a bit much to get every week.

If you’re near the border and can afford to it may be worthwhile stocking up.
