    3. I first moved to Dublin out of college in 2015 when this starts here. I rented an apartment just outside the city for €1200. This was a not a nice part of town and the apartment complex was nice but basic. Would have been about the average price we were seeing at the time for 2 beds.

      An apartment in the same complex (exact same layout) is now on Daft for €3100. That’s a a 158.3% increase in 10 years.

      I know this data is from 2 years ago but it doesn’t reflect the reality in the capital which is where the rents are most important.
