Who knew having to pay 10-15k per semester motivates you to graduate, rather than the studying being free.
I remember when I was doing a Master, I had a classmate from India that wanted to finish as early as possible as she wanted to graduate and marry before her dad died. She did it in year and half and didn’t even came back for the ceremony. Meanwhile I also met a finnish woman that had been doing the same 2 year program than us, but she was on her 5th year in it. I remember she said “I am taking it slow and I get money to study so why not extend it?”.
Most non-EU students aim to settle or live here permanently, which isn’t possible under a student status, especially since they also have to pay tuition fees. It’s not just pure motivation driving them. Instead of pursuing these pointless studies, it’s better to identify the so-called “students” who have occupied student housing for ages, not to study, but to avoid private rentals.
Ok? Of course this happens. They are coming here *to* study. The average person doesn’t want to study as much. This is obvious.
This study was a very good use of money and time.
all about the money…expensive country ,0 jobs perspective, not really hard to understand why the leave.
They’re in a rush to start working at the kebab van, right?
