We shouldn’t celebrate these ukrainian restrictions, we should be instead focusing on what’s left. In fact, we should make a map and list and directions and pictures of each remaining refinery and facility so we can go admire them while they are still around.
Just to grasp the amount of oil this refinery produces. Let’s hope they fucked it up good
10 million tonnes of oil per year ÷ 365 days ≈ 27,400 tonnes per day.
• A typical fuel truck (for gas station deliveries) carries about 30 tonnes (≈ 30,000–40,000 liters).
• To move 27,400 tonnes per day, you’d need roughly 910 trucks a day
800,000 cars per day could be refueled (assuming 40 L each)
