My latest: Top Russian officials appear to be carrying out a Kremlin-coordinated campaign to threaten [NATO](https://www.newsweek.com/topic/nato) ally Finland in the same way they did prior to Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine, the Institute for the Study of War ([ISW](https://www.newsweek.com/topic/isw)) has warned.
“High-ranking Kremlin officials have increased threats against Finland in recent weeks, including by using language that mirrors the Kremlin’s false justifications for its invasions of Ukraine,” the Washington-based ISW think tank said in an analysis published Thursday, September 18.

Not even in news here in Finland anymore. I know they stupid, but they are not that stupid that they would open new line in Finland or Poland. It’s Lithuania or Latvia if they poke Nato, or Moldova if they just want to stirr some shit.

They stand zero chance invading Finland, any threats don’t matter. The real concern is Estonia.
Russia will never truly attack NATO. Russia is a country of cowards & bullies, they usually never take on opponents on eye level.
And even if they take on smaller foes, like Ukraine, they find a way to make themselves look like absolute morons.
If there is one country in NATO that could hold the line against Russia until NATO troops arrive, it’s Finland. It would be a mistake of epic proportions.

I remember watching Putin’s speech on the eve of the invasion. It was chilling to hear his arguments since the same historical excuses about Russia claiming back what once was theirs would have been directed to Finland as well.
